LXDE startup with .startx.log

Description of problem:
I have to 'startx' twice (startx, logout, startx) to have Voulume Control
appear on lxpanel.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
lxpanel.i686             0.5.6-2.fc15              @koji-override-0/$releasever

How reproducible:
start LXDE.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. $ startx
2. Menu - Logout 
3. $ startx
  
Actual results:
No Volume Control on lxpanel on 1st startup.

Expected results:
Volume Control on lxpanel.

I cannot reproduce this bug report.

When exactly is pulseaudio started? before you log out or on the second login?

You say there is an error about pluseaudio in startx.log, however I don't see it in the log you attached. Can you please give me some more context?

Can you also check if "ck-list-sessions" shows something different the first and the second time you log in?

Just as in bug 714394 you should have two consolekit sesions opened when you log in form a console and start lxde with startx. But you only have one, the console session, this is why you cannot connect to various devices and things like pluseaudio or nm-applet are failing.
