The /log/message can be found in Bug 811368 that I submitted yesterday.

Comment 2 lionghostshop 2012-04-11 05:40:46 UTC
Please fix this bug since we reply on PEAP to access enterprise wifi. Without it, we cannot use wifi.

First, please update the system as you don't have recent packages and I see many
crashes in the log, e.g.
Apr 11 00:24:33 localhost kernel: [ 1219.992636] gnome-shell[1286]: segfault at 3edfb ip 00007fbc497884be sp 00007fffd0a99210 error 4 in libclutter-1.0.so.0.910.0[7fbc49748000+114000]

Apr 11 03:36:37 localhost kernel: [  697.628142] gnome-shell[1045]: segfault at 0 ip 00007fc1fa12315e sp 00007fff0f33fa60 error 4 in libaccountsservice.so.0.0.0[7fc1fa10b000+3b000]

Apr 11 03:59:08 localhost kernel: [ 1221.489152] tracker-extract[3867]: segfault at 7f58c78aeb30 ip 00007f58c6602c8d sp 00007fffa1361550 error 4 in libc-2.15.so[7f58c6587000+1ac000]

Apr 11 04:41:35 localhost dbus-daemon[663]: (process:5380): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_unref: assertion `value->ref_count > 0' failed

They could influence proper functionality, but could be already fixed in newer packages.

Second, as far as the connection to PEAP is concerned, there's a problem in association/authentication in wpa_supplicant or driver. So logs from wpa_supplicant are of interest (/var/log/wpa_supplicant.log).

Please use the following instructions to switch debugging on:
https://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/Debugging#wpa_supplicant07

Please provide us with wpa_supplicant.log as requested above. And, dmesg' output would be valuable as well. Otherwise, it's just guessing.

Comment 12 lionghostshop 2012-04-16 16:27:22 UTC
I think it is bad that fedora is shipped without PEAP support.
 Please fix this bug. Thank you.

Comment 13 lionghostshop 2012-04-17 01:41:13 UTC
After an update of system, NetworkManager is unchanged. However, networkmanager always display wireless unavailable and no APs are shown. I've tried two network card.

There may be a problem in latest wpa_supplicant, please try to downgrade it to
wpa_supplicant-1.0-0.2.fc17

$ rpm -q wpa_supplicant

Comment 15 lionghostshop 2012-04-17 08:34:15 UTC
Please give me a link of wpa_supplicant-1.0-0.2.fc17 x86 64

Comment 16 Jirka Klimes 2012-04-17 08:57:14 UTC
# yum downgrade wpa_supplicant
could work.

Else, you can find the package here:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=297232

direct link:
http://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/wpa_supplicant/1.0/0.2.fc17/x86_64/wpa_supplicant-1.0-0.2.fc17.x86_64.rpm

Comment 17 lionghostshop 2012-04-17 09:14:51 UTC
You are right. wpa_supplicant-1.0-0.2.fc17 even works for PEAP. When this bug will be fixed in newer version?
Thank you. It's great!
