5.7.200.3. DESCRIPTION¶
Reverses the per-bug damage done by the manage_user_access repudiate action
against bugs reported by the given user: restores the pre-repudiate product,
component, version, status, resolution, groups, and CC list, restores comment
text stubbed out by the spam scrubber, and removes the spam comment tag.
Everything needed to reconstruct the restore is read from bugs_activity and
longdescs_activity, the same audit tables the original action wrote to, so
no snapshot is required and the reversal itself is fully audited.
Not recoverable: attachments and flags submitted by the repudiated user were
permanently deleted by the despam_comments job with no audit trail. This
script cannot restore them.
Without --dry-run, one undo_repudiate job is enqueued per bug via the
normal Bugzilla job queue, so the actual writes happen asynchronously and can
be watched/throttled like any other job traffic.
This documentation undoubtedly has bugs; if you find some, please file them here.
