Thank you for reporting. This is a result of combining strings ("updated" or "an update" is appended to "Package ${package_name} ${old_version} will be"). I've changed the translation of "will be" to "będzie" and "an update" to "aktualizacją" in Transifex. I think it's a passable compromise. I don't know how soon this will land in upstream git and Fedora packages though, that's up to the yum developers.

Description of problem: yum update in english shows this message: ---> Package ${package_name} ${old_version} will be updated ---> Package ${package_name} ${new_version} will be an update Polish version: ---> Pakiet ${package_name} ${old_version} zostanie zaktualizowany ---> Pakiet ${package_name} ${new_version} zostanie zaktualizowany Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): yum-3.4.3-106.fc20.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum downgrade ${package_name} 2. LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8 yum update ${package_name} 3. Actual results: ---> Pakiet ${package_name} ${old_version} zostanie zaktualizowany ---> Pakiet ${package_name} ${new_version} zostanie zaktualizowany Expected results: ---> Pakiet ${package_name} ${old_version} zostanie zaktualizowany ---> Pakiet ${package_name} ${new_version} będzie zaaktualizowaną wersją (or: będzie aktualizacją) Additional info: This should be also fixed in RHEL.
