In the spec file it says the package owns %{_datadir}/icons/hicolor is owned by the package.. im not sure why you are seeing this directory as unowned. Maybe it's created by some other package?
In my system $ rpm -qf /usr/share/icons/hicolor hicolor-icon-theme-0.12-7.fc20.noarch fedora-logos-21.0.1-1.fc20.x86_64 $ rpm -qf /usr/share/icons/hicolor/192x192/ hicolor-icon-theme-0.12-7.fc20.noarch $ rpm -qf /usr/share/icons/hicolor/512x512/ file /usr/share/icons/hicolor/512x512 is not owned by any package The hicolor-icon-theme 0.13 release was supposed to create the 512x512 directory at install time, for which there is a corresponding upstream bug. Once there is a new release with that patch (or it is cherry-picked downstream), the Fedora hicolor-icon-theme package should own the directory. I filed a patch for fedora-logos to depend on hicolor-icon-theme, and stop owning the hicolor directories, in bug 1170731. hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc21 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 21. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc21 hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc20 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 20. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc20 hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc19 Package hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc21: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 21 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc21' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2014-16601/hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc21 then log in and leave karma (feedback). hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc21 has been pushed to the Fedora 21 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc20 has been pushed to the Fedora 20 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. hicolor-icon-theme-0.14-1.fc19 has been pushed to the Fedora 19 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
