Proposed workaround
Should avoid the crash.
Wouldn't fix thumbnailing thing in the trash://
Will wait for hadess to take a look at it

If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. "gnome-mobi-thumbnailer killed by SIGSEGV" with gnome-epub-thumbnailer-1.3-3.fc20. ABRT pointed me here thought it won't let me analyze this, because it's reported already. Reopen? Hmm, -3 with the patches applied should really have a different crash signature, at least gnome-thumbnailer-skeleton.h:111 is completely different thing with the patches applied... I'll assume that abrt got somehow confused. Please if it crashes again try to trick abrt into filing a new bug. Created attachment 851097 [details]
Reproducer
Here's a reproducer for the crash. Or do you prefer a new bug instead (thought I may not be able to create it by ABRT)?
Thanks. Technically its a different crash for which I should have picked the existing upstream fix in the -3 update. My fail. I'll do another round of updates... Still no idea why abrt considers them the same bug... |
