Comment 8 Colin Walters 2014-07-17 12:43:23 UTC
I'm going to look at this.

Comment 9 Matthew Miller 2014-07-17 14:32:28 UTC
Adding Eric Paris, because he mentioned that updating etcd was a priority of his.

Comment 10 Colin Walters 2014-07-17 21:14:01 UTC
Ok, there are several dependency chains and issues here. First up, a new version of goraft:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=7160133

Since nothing else in Fedora is using this, and the current version of etcd is massively outdated, I just went ahead and built it, though I suspect it'll make the current etcd FTBFS.

Comment 11 Colin Walters 2014-07-17 21:52:59 UTC
Work-in-progress updated package: https://github.com/projectatomic/etcd-package

Comment 12 Colin Walters 2014-07-18 16:12:59 UTC
Ok, and upstream etcd is forking from goraft:

https://github.com/coreos/etcd/pull/874

Comment 13 Colin Walters 2014-07-20 13:53:40 UTC
Various updates pushed to github; see:

https://github.com/projectatomic/etcd-package

Comment 14 Colin Walters 2014-07-23 18:41:01 UTC
Luke, did you still want to own this package? Is it OK if we work on it?
