Comment 1 zeus_7hc 2014-01-31 23:15:20 UTC
interestingly, the same test works fine using chrome.

Comment 2 zeus_7hc 2014-02-01 00:20:24 UTC
after some research, this may also be related to
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1035942
I also have the extension "WindowOverlay Icons enabled. when disabling it, gnome does not crash every time, but it still crashes.

Comment 3 John Anderson 2014-02-05 20:04:19 UTC
+1 having the same issue and firefox and chrome both crash. Its not consistent but seems to happen more often if I go full screen and then alt-tab.

Comment 4 Martin Stransky 2014-02-11 15:08:15 UTC
Does the Firefox crash? Or just gnome-shell?

just the gnome-shell

Comment 6 Martin Stransky 2014-02-11 15:17:08 UTC
Please test latest Firefox-27 packages for Fedora, we have had a problem with system-cairo.

Comment 7 John Anderson 2014-02-11 17:09:01 UTC
I'm seeing this with chrome and chromium as well. Do they also use Cairo?

Comment 8 zeus_7hc 2014-02-11 21:51:30 UTC
same results with firefox 27

Comment 9 Martin Stransky 2014-02-12 10:03:07 UTC
I idea what chrome/chromium run...moving to gnome-shell.

I'll tentatively close this as duplicate of bug 1057933 - can you please update gnome-shell and reopen if you reproduce with gnome-shell-3.10.3-3 or later?
