This issue does not affect postgresql packages included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora. Those packages include pre-build postgresql binaries, while this issue can only be exploited during the package build. This may affect users who rebuild postgresql source rpms for Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora postgresql packages on a system with untrusted local users. Note that Red Hat does not support modified packages, see: https://access.redhat.com/site/support/offerings/production/soc Future postgresql updates may include changes to the build process that mitigate this issue for users who rebuild postgresql from the source packages. Statement: Not vulnerable. This issue did not affect postgresql packages as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Software Collections.
