I'm asking for a guideline update since this is not explicitly against the current Fedora guidelines. https://fedorahosted.org/fpc/ticket/426 wine-1.7.18-1.fc20 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 20. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/wine-1.7.18-1.fc20 wine-1.7.18-1.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/wine-1.7.18-1.fc19 Package wine-1.7.18-1.fc19: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing wine-1.7.18-1.fc19' as soon as you are able to. Description of problem: From `man binfmt.d`: > Packages should install their configuration files in /usr/lib/, > files in /etc/ are reserved for the local administrator... but wine-systemd installs /etc/binfmt.d/wine.conf. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.7.16-2.fc20
