Description Corey Welton 2014-05-21 18:08:01 UTC
Description of problem:
After running the utility, user is told how to register to sat. However, this does not indicate that user must also include a relevant environment. Thus, when user tries to follow instructions provided, registration fails.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite-6.0.3-RHEL-6-20140520.2

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run capsule-certs-generate as expected
2. View resulting output on how to register
3. Attempt to register host to sat with this exact command.

Actual results:
# subscription-manager register --org "ACME_Corporation"
Username: admin
Password:
At least one activation key must have a lifecycle environment and content view assigned to it

Expected results:
We should be providing text noting that a valid --environment is also required.

Comment 2 Mike McCune 2014-06-06 03:41:28 UTC
this is going to be fixed in 1096068 and we will allow registration without an env.
