libvirt on RHEL-5 doesn't have the state() method that is used on RHEL-6 and RHEL-7. However this information can be also obtained from info() method. Fixed in virt-who-0.9-6.el5. Verified on virt-who-0.9-6.el5 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
