This appears to be a problem with the gen_util_applet, and not with Eterm (I can launch Eterm from my box from the "Run program" dialog and can run it from a launcher on the panel. I am reassigning this to the maintainer of gnome-core (gnome-core is the package that contains the gen_util_applet used in this case). Tim This bug might be fixed in the new release of GNOME which is coming out in a few days - we will be putting the new release in Rawhide and checking it out. works in Rawhide |
