| Fixed In Version: | httpd-2.4.6-23.el7 | Doc Type: | Bug Fix | |
| Doc Text: |
Cause: There was a race-condition in signals handling when httpd was running on foreground and user hit ctrl+c (sent SIGINT to httpd processes).
Consequence: In that case, SIGINT was sent to all children followed by SIGTERM from the main process, which interrupted the SIGINT handler and lead to hanging process or crash.
Fix: The problem has been fixed by ignoring the SIGINT signals in the child processes.
Result: Httpd does not hang or crash in the mentioned situation.
