Description Dan Callaghan 2014-10-02 03:06:52 UTC
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
grub2-2.02-0.2.10.el7.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. info grub2
2. Browse to the Network section

Actual results:
No mention of config paths.

Expected results:
The doc should specify what TFTP path GRUB loads its config from, so that I can put the config in the right place!

On EFI the expected behaviour seems to be loading the config relative to the GRUB2 binary path (see bug 1067611 for example).

On ppc64 the expected behaviour seems to be loading the config relative to the whatever was given to --subdir= when running grub2-mknetdir.

Additional info:
The online version of the GRUB manual is woefully outdated, it would be nice if all this info were present there too so that it can be found with a search engine, rather than poking around in texinfo on a RHEL7 box.
