Tooltip out of place

Description of problem: The tooltip of some apps (hexchat,xfce4-power-manager,claws-mail etc) are out of place for LXDE,MATE and XFCE spins both in livecd and installed+updated systems.

Comment 1 Kevin Fenzi 2014-10-13 20:10:43 UTC
Neat. ;(

So, can you pinpoint when this started happening? Perhaps a gtk2 update?

Or did it always behave this way for you?

Comment 3 Minus Zero 2014-10-14 11:07:20 UTC
Yes it was like this always, from livecd to installation and after a fully update.

Comment 4 Mukundan Ragavan 2014-10-16 00:59:27 UTC
Do you by any chance happen to run two monitors?

Comment 5 Minus Zero 2014-10-16 20:14:58 UTC
Nope. I never had this except with fedora. Perhaps it's not a bug with the DE. Take a look here https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1152076

Comment 6 Mukundan Ragavan 2014-10-17 01:24:58 UTC
Hmmm ... That's unfortunate. I used to see this with dual monitors every now and then ...

Comment 7 Minus Zero 2014-11-06 22:50:40 UTC
It seems to have been fixed in f21 beta! :D

Comment 8 Kevin Fenzi 2014-11-08 16:24:40 UTC
Interesting. Nothing has really changed in Xfce... so it must have been a gtk2/something update. ;(

In any case can we close this now? Or should we try and figure out what it was for f20?

Comment 9 Minus Zero 2014-11-08 17:18:17 UTC
We can close it I guess.

Comment 10 Kevin Fenzi 2014-11-08 17:29:42 UTC
Thanks.
