Description of problem:
up2date hangs when started from a non-privileged user

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login as a non-root user
2. up2date-nox -l
3.
  
Actual results:
You are attempting to run "up2date-nox" which requires administrative
privileges, but more information is needed in order to do so.
