Description Sokratis 2014-11-25 08:32:43 UTC
The allocation type and actual size columns for the Virtual Disks are missing from the Disk Tab in VM Detail on oVirt 3.5.0.

Until oVirt 3.4.3 there was a column with the disk type (Preallocated or Thin Provisioned) but now it's gone!

Furthermore, there is only a VIrtual Size tab now and the Actual Size is missing. This was very useful for Thin Provisioned Disks because we could see the actual disk utilization whereas now we only see the allocated size without knowing how much is actually used.

Hi Sokratis,
In UI related bugs please be sure to attach an image to make it clear on where is the error.
As for the virtual disks tab, the information is still there yet up to 3.5 the disks displayed by default was image disks but due to Bug 878962 it was changed to show all disks by default and that type of view omits the parts not relevant to both LUN & image disks (actual size and such..), all you have to do is click in the upper part of the panel on the button that says "Images" and all the info will appear
