dmesg output

Description of problem: When I close the lid of my laptop, the computer suspends like default. When I open the lid, the screen frequently (but not always) remains black. However, the mouse cursor works and everything else works (see Additional info)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.17.7-300.fc21.x86_64

How reproducible:
Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes the visuals load but the lock screen background has a lot of jitters. However, when Skype is running in the background, the bug is always reproducible.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close the lid.
2. Wait a few seconds.
3. Open the lid.

Actual results:
The mouse cursor appears but the screen remains black.

Expected results:
The lock screen appears.

Additional info:
I can hear Skype sounds when Skype is running. I can freely move the mouse. The keyboard fully works. I can Ctrl+Alt+F2 into TTY2 with no problem, and even startx.

I use the following hardware:
Laptop: Dell Inspiron 1525
Memory: 2.9 GiB
Processor: Intel® Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2390 @ 1.86GHz × 2
OS Type: 64-bit
Graphics: Intel® 965GM
GNOME: Version 3.14.2
Disk: 36.0 GB

Proprietary software that has been installed: Skype, Steam, Dropbox, B43 firmware

I've attached the output of dmesg.

dmesg log immediately after a successful resume from suspend

Here's a dmesg after a successful resume. There seem to be many graphical bugs. I don't know if they might be related to the main issue.
