The python-pbr package required by Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform puppet modules is not present in Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 6. Installation using Packstack will fail if OpenStack Bare Metal Provisioning (ironic), a Technology Preview package, is enabled. Manual installation is required for Bare Metal Provisionin at the moment.

The problem is in: 0015-Fix-Ironic-modules-so-services-properly-run.patch Simply removing this line would may fix it, but Ryan has a cleaner fix: + require => Package['python-pbr'], pull request has been merged The pull reques has been merged, waiting for confirmation on package creation. Lon, should i wait for package creation? Build free! Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
