Description Miroslav Suchý 2015-01-30 14:06:25 UTC
Description of problem:
I have in my answer file for packstack:
  CONFIG_AMQP_ENABLE_SSL=y
However after running packstack the configs
/etc/neutron/neutron.conf and /etc/nova/nova.conf and likely others have:
  rabbit_use_ssl=False
I would expect that rabbit_use_ssl is set to True.

Versions:
RDO Icehouse
openstack-packstack-puppet-2014.1.1-0.31.1.dev1266.el7.centos.noarch
openstack-packstack-2014.1.1-0.31.1.dev1266.el7.centos.noarch

Comment 1 Miroslav Suchý 2015-01-30 14:26:15 UTC
And keystone/keystone.conf does not have rabbit_use_ssl defined at all (i.e. keystone default value is used).

Comment 2 Gaël Chamoulaud 2015-02-13 15:57:15 UTC
That issue is already fixed in master and juno branches of packstack.
https://github.com/stackforge/packstack/commit/ef4750bb80f3b99a2ede6c1738b1aff2175726c4

Should be backported in Icehouse soon!

This bug is against a Version which has reached End of Life.
If it's still present in supported release (http://releases.openstack.org), please update Version and reopen.
