Description of problem: In it's current version of util-linux on RHEL7 blkid does not recognize xfs extenal log device. Steps to Reproduce: # mkfs.xfs -f -l logdev=/dev/sdb1,size=512m /dev/sda1 # blkid /dev/sdb1 <nothing> while upstream version will get us # blkid /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdb1: LOGUUID="fb6fee42-caf5-4089-bf9c-702f9b95c336" TYPE="xfs_external_log" Additional info: Looks like we need at least this upstream commit commit 0a2002551d65f73576cb4514fb052765d46cc8c5 Author: Eric Sandeen <sandeen> Date: Mon Aug 5 18:09:35 2013 -0500 libblkid: Detect external XFS log device plus some other fixes that went in upstream. ed5a064d2ef8660c6cf329d9f57a39afc59ff675 libblkid: don't interpret regual XFS as external xfs log 3b41176384f5e48515cf490b2aa3f9bb1fd7ae92 libblkid: use proper type in xfs log checker [coverity scan]
