Can you be more specific what does not work please?

Comment 2 lejeczek 2015-05-26 11:44:42 UTC
ok, it seems that gnome-terminal is rather troublesome and from it and to it I cannot paste selected text.
Seems Firefox is fine. (except it gets slower and slower, but for this I filed a different report)

Comment 3 Martin Stransky 2015-05-26 11:46:15 UTC
I use clipit for the clipboard inspection - it's packaged in Fedora.

Comment 4 tonydiep 2015-06-05 11:36:36 UTC
I can confirm this bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1204222

Comment 5 lejeczek 2015-08-19 12:10:36 UTC
firefox - I cannot paste in neither form gnome-terminal, gedit, sort of all default gnome apps.
Pasting from gnome-terminal into gedit takes ~20 sec.

Comment 6 Martin Stransky 2015-08-19 13:00:33 UTC
It's general problem when Wayland native apps can't paste to X11 apps and the other way around.

Comment 7 lejeczek 2015-08-19 14:00:45 UTC
would there be a workaround suggested?

also, I'm guessing this should be separate bug report - after you logged out @wayland gnome session you cannot log back in.

Comment 8 Christian Stadelmann 2015-11-17 18:18:50 UTC
This bug is (mostly) fixed in Gtk+ 3.18.x. I guess this report can be closed.

Comment 9 lejeczek 2015-11-17 19:36:23 UTC
I cannot tell, I'm on F23 and not everything mostly looks OK. ! expect for gnome-terminal's double-click highlight and middle-click paste does not work.

Comment 10 tonydiep 2015-11-19 02:52:35 UTC
I don't think this has been fixed.

There seem to be at least two clipboards.

Firefox and Geany seem to share one clipboard.
Terminal and gedit seem to share a different clipboard.

It's not the end of the world but it's confusing.

Comment 11 Malar Kannan 2015-12-03 05:30:11 UTC
Can't paste into evolution new message window after copying from firefox.

Comment 12 Fedora End Of Life 2016-07-19 19:09:06 UTC
Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this
bug.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
