Can you be more specific what does not work please?
ok, it seems that gnome-terminal is rather troublesome and from it and to it I cannot paste selected text. Seems Firefox is fine. (except it gets slower and slower, but for this I filed a different report)
I use clipit for the clipboard inspection - it's packaged in Fedora.
I can confirm this bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1204222
firefox - I cannot paste in neither form gnome-terminal, gedit, sort of all default gnome apps. Pasting from gnome-terminal into gedit takes ~20 sec.
It's general problem when Wayland native apps can't paste to X11 apps and the other way around.
would there be a workaround suggested? also, I'm guessing this should be separate bug report - after you logged out @wayland gnome session you cannot log back in.
This bug is (mostly) fixed in Gtk+ 3.18.x. I guess this report can be closed.
I cannot tell, I'm on F23 and not everything mostly looks OK. ! expect for gnome-terminal's double-click highlight and middle-click paste does not work.
I don't think this has been fixed. There seem to be at least two clipboards. Firefox and Geany seem to share one clipboard. Terminal and gedit seem to share a different clipboard. It's not the end of the world but it's confusing.
Can't paste into evolution new message window after copying from firefox.
