I have recently pushed a subscription for RHEL, which uses subman, to upstream cloud-init.  It has been reviewed by upstream.  I would like us to carry the code as a patch until upstream releases it.  The code can be found here:

bzr branch lp:~bbaude/cloud-init/rh_subscription

The three key files are:

cc_rh_subscription.py
cloud-config-rh_subscription.txt
test_rh_subscription.py

These are basically file adds and not code needs to be patched, changed.

Also, we need to dep at least selinux-policy-3.13.1-25 as it has fixes related to dbus, cloud-init, and rhsmcertd.


I am happy to test when you have a package.

I have a proposed fix upstream for this awaiting approval.  Please open a different bugzilla for the request for change and we can track inclusion there.
