Doc Text:
Feature: Allow enabling services on RHEV-H Reason: Sometimes it's necessary to enable or disable a service during runtime - mainly for debugging or support purposes Result: This is now possible. In order to be able to persist the state of services, the following command needs to be run on RHEV-H: $ persist /etc/systemd/system After this basic enablement, the individual services can be enabled by calling: $ systemctl enable <service>

Roman, this feature might be interesting for GSS, as it's now possible to enable services if needed.

Comment 3 Fabian Deutsch 2015-09-17 13:23:20 UTC
I've reverted the patch, because isolating a unit during boot (which we use to fix this bug) is not a good idea and leads to bad regressions and unpredictable behavior.

Comment 7 Fabian Deutsch 2015-10-07 13:12:21 UTC
The insight which we gained with comment 3 is the reason for closing this bug.

Support for i.e. FCoE is not impacted by this.
