Description José Matos 2015-07-27 16:55:04 UTC
In order to build the new R-multcomp I need to get R-mvtnorm updated to 1.0_3:

From the build:
https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//work/tasks/5726/10495726/build.log

** preparing package for lazy loading
Error : package 'mvtnorm' 0.9.9996 was found, but >= 1.0.3 is required by 'multcomp'

Looking into the NEWS file:
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/mvtnorm/NEWS

the changes are sufficiently cautious as to port to older fedora releases.

What to you think?

Comment 1 Denis Arnaud 2015-07-27 17:45:25 UTC
Thanks José!
Would you like me to add you as a co-maintainer?

Comment 2 José Matos 2015-07-28 09:14:16 UTC
Please do.
I have requested access in pkgdb. :-)

If you want to I can build the package for Fedora (and if you agree to EPEL).

Approved (https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/R-mvtnorm/)

> If you want to I can build the package for Fedora (and if you agree to EPEL).

Yes, please: it would be nice if you could also build it for Fedora!

Comment 4 José Matos 2015-07-28 14:32:34 UTC
Thank you. :-)

I have started the built process:

rawhide->f23->f22->f21->el7->el6->el5

The package now installs header files that I have placed in a -devel subpackage.

The only other change is that DESCRIPTION should not be marked as %doc since it is required for the package to work and the package should be able to work without %doc files. This follows a recent change to the guidelines.
