The kafka-python library is now included in this release (provided by the python-kafka package). This library provides support for Apache Kafka; this, in turn, allows the Telemetry service to dispatch events and samples with the Kafka publisher.

Description of problem:

New kafka publisher requires kafka-python library kafka-python>=0.9.2, however the library does not appear to be in the OSP7 beta repositories, so if fails when the publisher is added to a sink.

Steps to Reproduce:

Try to configure a kafka sink

Actual results:

An error is displayed in ceilometer logs

Expected results:

kafka should be properly working
