Describe the issue: 
Normally, client want to use their own certificate for service that they provide. Openshift v3 is also one of their services so they want to do it but there is no documentation at all. Therefore, we should add this topic to official document, I think administration is a right place.

https://github.com/openshift/openshift-docs/pull/1290 is/was a PR that has been merged into the upstream documentation that outlines how to update or re-key a systems certificates should the certificate validity (valid till date) expire.
