Description Randy Barlow 2015-10-01 15:07:14 UTC
Description of problem:
The plasmashell process often uses 100% of the CPU. This bug has been filed upstream, but I wanted to file a downstream bug to track the issue as well.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
% rpm -q plasma-desktop
plasma-desktop-5.4.1-6.fc24.x86_64

How reproducible:
I'm unsure how to reproduce the problem, but it happens every day as I use KDE eventually.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use KDE for a while.

Actual results:
Eventually, the plasmashell process will probably be using 100% of the CPU.

Expected results:
No infinite loops ☺

Thanks, the upstream fix should be included in plasma-5.4.2, which will be coming to updates-testing over the next week (or so).

Please re-open if problems persist after upgrading.
