Not seeing this issue in the latest 5.5  build 5.5.2.0.20151219144653_653c0d4 

editing catalog item when a resource from provider is removed or while accessing a service catalog item . 

Seeing another issue when the template used in item is removed . Opening another bz for it https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1295524

We have been unable to reproduce so I am closing this issue for now.  If the issue appears again please reopen the ticket with steps to reproduce.
