Description Daniel Korn 2015-12-13 09:23:12 UTC
Description of problem:
Timelines button is clickable and redirecting to the Timelines view, even when there are no events available for an entity.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
cfme-5.5.0.13-1.el7cf.x86_64

How reproducible:
100% in cases when there are no events for an entity.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. navigate to Pods (Containers tab > Pods)
2. choose a Pod without events data (verify in rails console/API/Openshift CLI)
3. click the Monitoring drop-down and choose Timelines

Actual results:
redirection to Timelines page with a message:
"No events available for this timeline"

Expected results:
Timelines button should be disabled, as it is for replication controllers (replicators)

Additional info:
Entities sharing the problem: container, pods and nodes.
