Description Dan Yasny 2016-01-05 22:12:16 UTC
Description of problem:
After switching from GNOME3 to MATE, I can no longer connect to more than a single VPN connection. As soon as I am connected to one, all others become greyed out in the UI. invoking vpnc/openconnect via the CLI works. This also works fine in GNOME3, but as I understand, a different applet is used there.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create several different VPN connections
2. connect to the first
3. try to connect to another

Actual results:

not possible, everything but the disconnect option is greyed out
Expected results:
should be able to connect to multiple VPN connections

Additional info:
confirmed with the MATE team this is a problem in the network-manager-applet component and not with their packages: https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-applets/issues/176
