Description of problem: After switching from GNOME3 to MATE, I can no longer connect to more than a single VPN connection. As soon as I am connected to one, all others become greyed out in the UI. invoking vpnc/openconnect via the CLI works. This also works fine in GNOME3, but as I understand, a different applet is used there.
