Description Peter Larsen 2016-01-07 16:49:55 UTC
Document URL: https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/3.1/install_config/install/docker_registry.html#overview

Section Number and Name: n/a

Describe the issue:
During installation, there's no authorization set yet - this is ignored in this manual. Also, the username/password is NOT NEEDED to install the registry.

Suggestions for improvement:

Move the section away from the installation of the registry. Have a registry administration section, where the need for a specific user account can be mentioned, and take into account that some installs do not use htpasswd.

Received an ack from Paul that the docs currently have this information soon after the BZ was reported:

https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/3.2/install_config/install/docker_registry.html#access

Closing this BZ.
