Description of problem:
On a recent deployment attempt I ran into a situation where the log viewer never saw any data in the logs. Looking at them locally, there was data there, but the UI never saw anything and just showed the default 'wait for it' string.

Other deployments in that same environment, on the same browser, also did not work. Looking at the log viewer in Chrome showed no issues, they displayed fine. The same logs in a different environment also displayed fine in the log viewer.

The browser that had issues with the log viewer was FF 26.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a deployment
2. Go to the log viewer tab

Actual results:
No data from the logs ever makes it into the log viewer UI

Expected results:
To see the contents of the logs, same as if viewing them locally
