Description Kamil Páral 2016-03-14 16:55:56 UTC
Description of problem:
This is a fork of bug 1293055, but only related to KDE desktop. Plasma logout doesn't lead back to the SDDM greeter, but the screen stays black.

Comment 1 Kamil Páral 2016-03-14 16:58:20 UTC
Discussed at today's blocker review meeting [1]. Decided to split from bug 1293055. This new bug is AcceptedBlocker (Alpha) - per bug 1293055 comment 12 it appears there is a bug preventing log out in a clean F24 KDE install from working, that bug is accepted as a blocker.

Please note there seems to be an update already, it just need to be edited to fix this bug report:

Tested with Alpha 1.5. Both in live mode and post-install, when I logged out I got several crash notifications for various KDE components, but after clicking through those, the log out did work correctly and took me back to SDDM, where I could log in again, so this seems OK.

Update was pushed stable, closing.
