Patch to enable F24 theme
This spec patch fixes the issue.
Note, this only adjusts GNOME and the desktops that use -compat. It doesn't appear to fix KDE but Rex Dieter is working on that currently. N.B. Rex only found out about the new background recently, and is doing heroics here. +1 blocker Well heroics are nice, but this seems to happen *every damn cycle*. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, at this point, that the backgrounds need updating before Alpha. Discussed at today's blocker review meeting [1]. Voted as AcceptedBlocker (Alpha) - clear violation of "The default desktop background must be different from that of the last two stable releases." Giulio: it would be awesome, though, if you could file a separate bug for every non-blocking desktop that's still affected in F24 Alpha 1.7. They're non-blocking but we'd still like them to be fixed asap, of course. desktop-backgrounds-24.0.0-1.fc24 has been pushed to the Fedora 24 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
