Description of problem: GUI getting freezed when terminal is opened. It seems gnome-session is getting freezed and following error messages are observed in the logs :
Feb 22 14:32:26 rh04 fprintd: ** (fprintd:12533): WARNING **: fprint init failed with error -99
Feb 22 14:32:42 rh04 gnome-session: Gjs-Message: JS LOG: pushModal: invocation of begin_modal failed
How reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
It happens sometimes when trying to access the application and GUI suddenly freezes. Reproducible only at customer's end. It does not reproduce for some days after reboot.
Actual results: GUI getting freezed when trying to open applications.
Expected results: GUI shouldn't freeze.

does it eventually unfreeze? what programs are they running? does journal show any kernel oopses?
Yes, it eventually unfreezes and currently but after a few days it again happens. Also, on a reboot, it unfreezes but a reboot cannot be used as a workaround by customer. This happens while they are trying to open Terminal and other applications.
