Demo of the bug

Description of problem:
There is some delay or latency before xhr is started when user picks something in a dropdown menu. This is confusing because input is not blocked in this period and it's possible to interact with another dropdowns, but after xhr is complete focus can be lost from the current field and picked value is rest to previous. Please see a demo in the attachment.

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to Control->Explorer.
2. Open Alerts accordion.
3. Open "Add a new alert" dialog.
4. Pick any option in "Based on" field.

Actual results:
After picking the option user is able to interact with another fields, but after xhr is complete focus can be lost

Expected results:
Input must be blocked immediately after picking option in the dropdown menu.

Additional info:
In 5.5z there was no such behavior. Input immediately blocked after picking option from dropdown until XHR done.

This bug has been open for more than a year and is assigned to an older release of CloudForms. 

If you would like to keep this Bugzilla open and if the issue is still present in the latest version of the product, please file a new Bugzilla which will be added and assigned to the latest release of CloudForms.
