How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create hostgroup with puppet environment
2. Create host based on the hostgroup

empty

Expected results:
inherited from hostgroup

Moving 6.2 bugs out to sat-backlog.

Comment 3 Lukas Zapletal 2017-02-24 13:49:28 UTC
There were some improvements in this area, but this should be set to Puppet component for triage.

If this is about discovery, then we solved this by Quick provision modal dialog that is coming into Satellite NEXT. That workarounds that, the form is still broken a little bit, we need more refactoring (wizard perhaps) in order to fix this.

Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the forseeable future. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you.
