Description Mattias Ellert 2016-06-22 19:16:29 UTC
Description of problem:

The filesystem package installs

/usr/share/locale/sv_SV

which makes no sense (few people speak SWedish in El Salvador). The reason for installing the directory is to host files installed by the mate-applet-lockkeys package.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

mate-applet-lockkeys-0.2.3-1.fc22

The set of directories in the filesystem package is autogenerated as the superset used by packages in Fedora.

Comment 1 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2016-06-22 19:25:27 UTC
mate-applet-lockkeys is obsolete for f23/24/rawhide and epel7 and will never get an update anymore for f22.
Use
[rave@mother ~]$ gsettings set org.mate.peripherals-keyboard-xkb.general duplicate-leds true
to enable leds from libmatekbd as replacement.

Wolfgang, I realize this is closed but wanted to thank you for that tip. I have a laptop which has no keyboard leds, so I've really been missing mate-applet-lockkeys. I'd have never stumbled upon the duplicate-leds setting except for your post. Many thanks!
