I am pretty sure it's a different manifestation of copy/paste or move bug.

I had closed it with the temporary fix (bz#1279070) but I think it might be good to reopen it.

No, I don't think I can duplicate it.  No worries.

I can't remember what I did before clicking '<-'.  I remember thinking, "All I did was click that button.  I should report this."  What ever it was, it must have happened a long time before; I must have left Thunar running to do something else, and then came back to use it for something completely different, clicked "back", and that's when it crashed seemingly unprovoked.  It *may* have been after viewing some zip files with either file-roller or the gnome archive utility.
