Description sefi litmanovich 2016-09-13 12:37:52 UTC
Description of problem:

tcpdump, and I assume other packages which were installed by default on older rhev-hypervisor7-7.2 versions are not installed on rhev-hypervisor7-ng.
We should probably review which packages should be installed by default.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhvh-4.0-0.20160906.0

How reproducible:
always.

Comment 1 Fabian Deutsch 2016-09-13 12:55:27 UTC
No objections to add a few packages which support debugging, but we need the precise list.

Comment 2 Fabian Deutsch 2016-09-13 12:56:59 UTC
Let's just keep this bug for tcpdump and open other bugs if other packages are needed.

Comment 3 Sandro Bonazzola 2017-01-10 10:08:37 UTC
shouldn't this be in modified?

Comment 4 Qin Yuan 2017-01-25 03:41:27 UTC

imgbased-0.9.6-0.1.el7ev.noarch
redhat-release-virtualization-host-4.1-0.6.el7.x86_64

Test Steps:
1. Install RHVH
2. Reboot and log in to RHVH
3. Check tcpdump package using command:
# rpm -qa |grep tcpdump

Test Results:
The result of step3 is tcpdump-4.5.1-3.el7.x86_64

tcpdump package is installed, so the bug is fixed, change status to VERIFIED.
