Description Martin Vuille 2016-09-14 20:02:24 UTC
Description of problem:
After the screen locker kicks in, a blank screen is display and it is impossible to get back to the desktop

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.7.4-1.fc24

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Manually activate screen locker or wait for timed lock to kick-in
2.
3.

Actual results:
A grey screen with a mouse cursor is displayed, the cursor follows mouse movements, but all other input is ignored. When switching back to the desktop from a virtual console, it is sometimes possible to catch a glimpse of the desktop (not lock screen) before the grey screen is displayed.

Expected results:
The lock screen is displayed and the desktop can be unlocked

Additional info:
Works fine on two other machines where F24 was installed fresh. Was working fine on this machine under F23, current behavior started after upgrade to F24.
