As part of testday, I believe I ran into this bug as well, trying to write "Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-24-1.2.iso", selected under "Other OS", it just says "Finished" without doing anything. Host: Dell Latitude 3570 I've tried to write "Fedora-LXDE-Live-x86_64-25-20160912.n.0.iso" using "mediawriter-3.96.0-0.fc24.x86_64", but I hit this bug exactly as described on comment #4. Same problem as described on comment #4 with Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-25_Alpha-2.iso In console I have that : [dominique@host-192-168-1-2 ~]$ mediawriter Warning: Invalid URL: QUrl("") ((null):0, (null)) Warning: qrc:/components/DownloadDialog.qml:232: ReferenceError: liveUSBData is not defined (qrc:/components/DownloadDialog.qml:232, (null)) [dominique@host-192-168-1-2 ~]$ The problem seems to be "custom os" doesn't work well, but not different-version's fault. You will also see this bug when you try to use the "custom os" with the same version(f24).And,when you try to use "custom os" with a clean usb stick, you will also see this bug.The difference between the two situations is shown in the attached screenshots:You won't see a message pops up after the "finish",if you use a clean usb stick.
