Description of problem:

GSSAPI not enabled at build time. 

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

1.8.0-2.el7

Additional info:

The fix is actually documented in bug 1246177 but hasn't made it through to EPEL7 yet. 

For now I'm using a locally-built package with the fix.

libgsasl-1.8.0-8.el7 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 7 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
