Hi, known issue, see https://github.com/compiz-reloaded/compiz/issues/40 for more infos. You can use this workaround for the moment: Enable the wallpaper plugin and do a'killall caja', than the desktop icons are there and we have no redraw issue. Created attachment 1208791 [details] screenshot of behaviour Description of problem: all screen activity since enabling compiz is still on screen Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):0.8.12.3-3.fc25 How reproducible:consistently Steps to Reproduce: 1.enable compiz 2.use the computer, screen fills with old frames 3.try reloading the window manager from fusion icon, more corruption Actual results:as in steps Expected results:normal rendering Additional info:tested on AMD Athlon 5350 APU with R3 Graphics using Gallium and Also Intel i3-3110m HD 4000 GPU with Intel drivers. Same results so not driver specific.
