Description of problem:
Normally, the host names pasted to the LUN module are shortnames, and shortnames are used within the configuration object. However, when the admin passes a fqdn the LUN module is unable to match on the hostname and fails

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create an environment
2. add a lun using the fqdn for a allocation host
3.

Actual results:
allocation fails

Expected results:
allocation should work and strip the domain specific component of the name to ensure a match is successful

please retest with 1.3. local tests with fqdn in the LUN request are now trimmed to shortnames to be compatible with the names stored in the config object.
