Description of problem: Normally, the host names pasted to the LUN module are shortnames, and shortnames are used within the configuration object. However, when the admin passes a fqdn the LUN module is unable to match on the hostname and fails Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create an environment 2. add a lun using the fqdn for a allocation host 3. Actual results: allocation fails Expected results: allocation should work and strip the domain specific component of the name to ensure a match is successful Additional info:
please retest with 1.3. local tests with fqdn in the LUN request are now trimmed to shortnames to be compatible with the names stored in the config object.
